A regular sleep routine – going to bed and waking up at the same times each day – is one of the most important things you can do to optimize your sleep cycle and restore energy. Start by creating a routine: shut off all electronic devices, lay out your clothes for the next day, brush your teeth, wash your face, calm your mind and body and lastly turn your bedroom into a cave – no noise or light.
When you lay down, don’t focus on trying to fall asleep. Instead, focus on being relaxed and having a clear mind.
