Recipe of the Week: Chocolate Almond Butter Overnight Oats

We believe in healthy indulgences! It’s easy to start your day with a sweet treat, without giving up your healthy diet completely.

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened milk
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (or go dairy-free and swap these out for your favourite nut milk)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten free options are available)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxmeal
  • 1/2 teaspon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons natural almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)

Stir ingredients together in a medium-size bowl, and then spoon into a jar or tupperware container with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. For an extra boost, slice a ripe banana on top or sprinkle with shredded coconut flakes.
