Why do you CHALLENGE yourself physically and how did Innovative Fitness help you do this?
I challenge myself physically to stay competitive in sport, and be strong and mobile to stay active enjoy time with family. It’s also necessary to offset some calories – especially this time of year! Innovative has helped me achieve this and help me achieve new PBs along the way— I can bench-press 280lbs and deadlift 480lbs.
What is your biggest ADVERSITY surrounding your fitness and what do you do to overcome it?
I tore my ACL playing soccer and that’s what got me into Innovative. I had hit a plateau with physio, and Innovative helped me get past that part of my recovery and achieve a new level of fitness.

What has been your biggest VICTORY and most memorable experience at Innovative Fitness?
Training for and running the 2014 Vancouver half marathon in 1:42:00
What advice would you give someone thinking of starting a fitness program?
Be careful- it’s addictive! Don’t wait – do it now. Having a program helps you commit to training and Innovative will push you harder than you ever will on your own. It may be tough to afford the time and expense, but ask yourself if you can afford not to – and know it’s one of the best investments you can make!
