For those of us that are football fanatics, the best time of the year is upon us. The oh so glorious first Sunday in February that causes us to rejoice, as we witness one of the best sporting events of the year: SUPER BOWL!!
At the same time, a day of the year where the consumption of
nachos and wings is at an
all-time high, and sitting in front of the television for hours is considered acceptable. On average, people are expected to consume anywhere from 1500-2000 calories during the game and/or at parties happening on this joyous occasion.
But it doesn’t have to be this way! Here’s a fun fitness challenge for all to partake during the Super Bowl – enjoy those calories and burn a few while we’re at it! Here is the SUPER BOWL 50 WORKOUT:

FIELD GOAL – 20 sit ups
2 PT CONVERSION – 30 second wall sit
Beer commercial – 10 push ups
Every 1st down – 20 bicycle crunches
4th down conversion – 10 jump squats
Personal foul – 20 alternating lunges
Onside kick – 50 sit ups
Run/pass play of 20+ yards – 30 seconds high-knees
Celebrity sighting – 30 second plank
Timeout – 25 squats
Interception/fumble – 10 burpees
Sack – 60 second plank
Wardrobe malfunction – 20 burpees
Safety – 25 push ups
