 Innovative Fitness Kitsilano has wrapped up its 2015 Healthy Habits Challenge with an extremely inspirational and dedicated group of participants. It was a truly rewarding experience guiding these members through this challenge and witnessing them consistently progress and reach their fitness goals.

Here’s a big shout out to a few members that put 100% into this challenge and accomplished incredible results. The top male and female are a couple who have participated in this challenge consistently over the past few years and achieved a weight loss of 26lbs combined!

Brent Nichols secret to success “Hard work”

* Brent was in the gym before and/or after his training sessions to complete the weekly cardio challenges, followed the guidelines given by the training and held himself accountable. The payoff was a weight lose of 10lbs in less than a month! Great job Brent.

Kathy Cheng secret to success “Tracking”

By tracking food logs it was identified exactly what was going in so adjustments could be made with reference to calories burned during the week. This helped Kathy see the value in adding an additional training session a week in the form of the Weekend Circuit Class. Not only was this a great way to increase calories burned but it was great fun. Kathy lost 8lbs, 6% total body weight lost! Congrats Kathy

Alasdair Hamilton secret to success “Set a goal”

With a solid goal in mind Alasdair lost a solid 10lbs, which gets him to a weight he hasn’t been at in over 20 years! Can you imagine being that weight again? Nice work Alasdair.

Lucy Janega secret of success “Willpower”

Lucy stuck to the plan even when things were hard or temptation was surrounding her. With this willpower Lucy was able to lose over 10lbs, which is a total of nearly 7% of her total body weight, WOW. Congrats Lucy!

Congratulations to all Innovative Fitness members that achieved their goals and overcame adversity in this process by facing obstacles along the way.  This challenge is truly a success if each one of the members takes away at least one Healthy Habit and incorporates it in their everyday life.  People can battle that 10lb weight loss mark for years of yo-yoing and many of the members tackled this in just one month at Innovative Fitness.  Members were capable of achieving this in one month, they are inspirational to many as they conquered the Challenge, overcame the Adversity and achieved Victory.

Big thank you our supporters in the Healthy Habits Challenge that offered some great incentives to keep everyone motivated.
