The 60 Minute Kids Club Winter Challenge is officially over. Congratulations to all participants and thank you to all the teachers and parents that helped promote healthy active living. We are finalizing the reports so stay tuned for our Most Active School Announcement!

Did you know? The children taking part in the Winter Challenge have not only learned about making healthy choices, they changed their habits! Collective efforts have led to real behavioural changes for kids in their school, and over the past 60 days participants have increased their:

  • Daily Servings of Fruits and Vegetables from 2.1 to 3.2 servings (52% increase)
  • Daily Minutes of Activity by 31.8 to 43 minutes (35% increase)
  • Daily Glasses of Water by 3.2 to 4.6 glasses (43% increase)
  • Daily Hours of Sleep by 5.7 to 8.2 hours (43% increase)
